DESCRIPTION: The oldest Greek colony founded in southern Italy, Reggio Calabria stands on the tip of the “boot”, on the slopes of Aspromonte and at the geographical centre of the Mediterranean, enjoying a unique panorama that allows you to clearly see the Sicilian coast and Mount Etna.

On our tour we propose a visit to the city’s symbolic places:

The National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria (MArRC), which exhibits one of the most remarkable collections of artifacts from Magna Graecia. The most important works are certainly the Riace Bronzes, which have become its identifying symbol.

The Lungomare Falcomatà, one of the most famous streets in Reggio Calabria, also known as ‘The most beautiful km in Italy’.

The Roman Baths, discovered during reconstruction work following the 1908 earthquake, are one of the most famous monuments in the city of Reggio Calabria.

The Duomo dedicated to Maria Santissima Assunta, considered the largest religious building in Calabria.

The day ends with a visit to Scilla and the picturesque village of Fishermen – La Chianalea.
